One thing to say - OH MY GOSH!
My friend shared this gorgeous cover with me today and I love it to pieces. It has got to be my favourite of all of Cassandra Clare's book covers for the Mortal Instruments series. I adore the fact that both Jace and Clary are on the cover, I think it's the first time in either series that more than one character has graced a cover and obviously I love that the first time it happens it's these two together.
Jace looks like a hottie let me just get that out of the way.
Usually I hate seeing characters full frontal on covers because it tends to ruin the image your own mind conjures up of the characters but in this case, although Clary isn't exactly the way I picture her, the cover just fits. It has so much going on and the colours are very beautiful.
I think any die-hard Cassie Clare or Mortal Insturments fan will love this cover and only get that much more excited for the books release on May 8th, 2012.
